Getting Help With My Vision

One day when I was at work, I realized that I was having a hard time making out the memos and texts that were right in front of me. Instead of ignoring the issue, I decided to meet with an eye doctor. Although I was sure that the problem was nothing or temporary, the doctor explained to me that I suffered from a degenerative eye disease. I was devastated, but I knew that I needed to press on. It has been a rough few years, but I have learned a lot about the journey. Check out this blog for information and motivation about eye care challenges.

Tip #1: Wash your hands

You will want to be sure to keep your hands clean before touching the contacts. This will decrease the chance of getting an eye infection.

Be sure to use warm water and a mild detergent to prevent germs from getting on your contact lenses.

Tip #2: Keep your contacts in a case

It's a really great idea to keep your contacts protected in a case. You will want to put your contacts in these every night when you take this visual corrective wear out daily.

Tip #5: Never lend your contacts

It's important that you're the only person that wears your contact lenses. Never let another person use yours because this isn't healthy for your eyes.
